US President Donald Trump Wants To Expand The ‘US Wall’

US President Donald Trump Wants To Expand The ‘US Wall’

So now US President Donald Trump wants to expand the ‘US wall’ on its southern border. And the reason for this, according to the US President, as stated by him on Twitter…

“We need the Wall for the safety and security of our country. We need the Wall to help stop the massive inflow of drugs from Mexico, now rated the number one most dangerous country in the world. If there is no Wall, there is no Deal!”

What Does US President Donald Trump Want Now?

Nothing short of $5.7 billion! This will supposedly go towards the building of a steel wall, along the US-Mexico border. According to US President Donald Trump, this would stop the

shedding of “American blood” by illegal immigrants.

“How much more American blood must we shed before Congress does its job? For those who refuse to compromise in the name of border security, I would ask to imagine if it was your child, your husband, or your wife whose life was so cruelly shattered and totally broken,” he said.

What People Have To Say To About Donald Trump’s Twitter Post

“As said by the rated number one dangerous man in the world!!”

“Everything about you makes me cringe. You are not my potus, nor anyone’s potus. You are not making America great, but fostering disillusionment and hostility. You are seriously psychologically damaged and I wish to all superior powers that be that you would step down as potus.”

“Source please;”Mexico the most dangerous country in the world”? Leadership must be based on facts, not populistic falsifications. Provide the source. Mexico is number 22 on this list of dangerous countries, US is number 50. Source: Global Peace Index. What’s your source?”

“Well, I think I got an even better solution than a wall. If you don’t want the drugs just stop buying drugs from Mexico? I am assuming, perhaps incorrectly, that there is a market in the US for Mexican drugs and people (including Americans) are selling and buying this stuff?”

“You know, drugs flow into our country because Americans want them and are willing to pay for them. Until that stops, they will continue to come in one way or the other.”

False Claims About Mexico?

Is the US President making false claims about Mexico when he says that Mexico is now rated as the number one most dangerous country in the world?

According to Twitter reactions to the US President’s post on the Mexican Wall,

“By the way Syria is ranked the most dangerous country in the world.”

“Colombia is more dangerous and more wicked if you travel there cops will treat you as they please they will blackmail you and torture you and nobody on the U.S.A seems to care”

“Mexico isn’t even in the top 10 most dangerous countries. No credibility!”

BTW, Trump’s claim that Mexico is “the most dangerous country in the world” is false.”

How does one measure which is the most dangerous country in the world? The truth is, there is no measure that can indicate which is the most dangerous country in the world.

Mexico Reacts To Tweet By The US President

In a press release, the foreign ministry of Mexico said in response to President Donald Trump’s Tweet…

“While Mexico has a significant problem of violence, it is manifestly false that Mexico is the most dangerous country in the world. According to UN figures for 2014 (the most recent international report), Mexico is far from being one of the most violent countries. In Latin America alone, other countries have homicide rates higher than Mexico’s (16.4), which is far below several countries in the region.”

But The US President Says Differently

In his Tweet, US President Donald Trump stated…

“Mexico was just ranked the second deadliest country in the world, after only Syria. Drug trade is largely the cause. We will BUILD THE WALL!”
