- In Bahrain, a missile targeted the US Navy’s Fifth Fleet headquarters.
- In Qatar, a missile was intercepted.
- Explosions were also heard in Abu Dhabi, raising concerns about attacks near US military bases.
These developments indicate that US military facilities in the region could also be under threat.
Airspace Closed as Security Fears Grow
Following the attacks and counterattacks, multiple countries across the region shut their airspace.
Flights were disrupted as security risks increased. Aviation movement dropped sharply as nations took precautionary measures.
Trump Says Operations Aim to Remove Threat
President Trump stated that the strikes were launched to defend American interests and remove what he described as an imminent threat from Iran.
Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the operation was meant to eliminate an “existential threat” posed by Iran.
