Washington, D.C. – President Donald Trump has urged Russia to agree to a 30-day ceasefire in Ukraine, saying that failure to comply could lead to severe financial consequences. The proposal, backed by the US, goal to bring a temporary halt to hostilities, though Russia remains hesitant.

US Officials in Moscow for Talks

At the White House, while addressing reporters, Trump confirmed that American envoys are in Moscow to present the ceasefire agreement. “We have people in Russia right now,” he said. “I hope they agree because the alternative isn’t good for them.“
