Apple CEO Tim Cook recently revealed the latest iPhone 14 Series, and other products at its live event. If you missed or didn’t understand any details, here’s a recap of the live event.
Apple just announced three new watches, Apple Watch Series 8, the Apple Watch SE, and the Apple Watch Ultra.
The Apple Watch Series 8 features crash detection, which helps users to call for emergency help when they encounter an accident. It supports ECG, temperature sensing, multisports workouts, international roaming, and blood oxygen.
The Apple Watch SE 2 has a slightly bigger screen than the previous model. It also has efficient performance at a valuable price. The Apple Watch Ultra has the biggest screen at 49mm and 60 hours of battery life. It also has a compass mood and a new button. It has a titanium body and a rugged design, making it suitable for diving and mountain climbing. However, it is more pricey than other recently launched Apple Watches.
Apple also unveiled its new AirPods Pro at the Apple event. The new AirPods Pro has an H2 chip, a next- generation Apple silicon. It has 2x more noise cancellation, Personalized Spatial Audio, and an in-case speaker. It offers listening times of up to 6 hours and total listening times of up to 30 hours.
iPhone 14 Series
In the recent Live Event, Apple launched four new models of the iPhone 14 series. The series includes the iPhone 14, the iPhone 14 Plus, the iPhone 14 Pro, and the iPhone Pro Max. The design of these new models is similar to the iPhone 13 series. The iPhone 14 model has the same A15 Bionic chipset as the iPhone 13 series. The iPhone 14 has the same display size of 6.1 inches and camera features as the iPhone 13. Still, it has a better camera, a new feature of emergency SOS via satellite, and it supports 5G connectivity. It is also available in five beautiful new colors and three storage options.
The iPhone Plus has a slightly bigger screen of 6.7 inches and features similar to the iPhone 14. It has a car crash detection feature, which is very helpful. It also comes in 5 new colors. The front camera has autofocus. It can capture amazing low-light shots. It has an emergency satellite messaging feature that you can use to send SOS via satellite in 15 seconds.
While the Pro models get the new A16 Bionic chipset, improving their overall performance, the Pro models also have other exclusive features, such as Dynamic Island and a 48MP main camera. Dynamic Island helps users to control ongoing background activities over other apps. The Pro models also have an Always-On display feature. The Pro series has an outdoor peak brightness of up to 2000 nits, the brightest brightness of a smartphone ever recorded.
The Bottom Line
The most significant change to the latest iPhone 14 Pro is its camera upgrade. The iPhone 14 Pro models have a 48MP main camera with a quad-pixel sensor. Most of the new features, like the A16 Bionic chipset, 2x Telephoto, 3x optical zoom in, and more, are available on the Pro model. The iPhone 14 and Pro will go on sale on September 16. On October 7, iPhone Plus models will be available in your nearest Apple store and authorized stores.
