United States, New York: Andrew Cuomo, New York Governor has accused by a woman in sexual harassment. Governor denies these charges on Saturday.
The allegations came from 25-year-old Charlotte Bennett, a former health advisor. She served as executive assistant and health policy advisor of the New York administration until November 2020. Charlotte told the press that Andrew Cuomo sexually harassed her in the spring of 2020, when Covid-19 was spreading over the state. Charlotte said the governor asked her many wrong questions related to her personal life. As she said, Andrew Cuomo asked her if she thought age made a difference in their romantic relationship.
Bennett said in the report.
“I understood that the governor wanted to sleep with me, and felt horribly uncomfortable and scared”
Governor Andrew Cuomo said
“I was trying to be mentor to her. I never made advances towards miss Charlotte Bennett, nor did I ever intend to act in any way that was inappropriate”.
Governor gave his statement on Saturday.
The latest allegations come after New York City’s Mayor Bill de Blasio joined a chorus of political leaders on Thursday demanding an independent investigation into the claims of another Cuomo aide who has also made accusations of sexual harassment.
“We need a full and independent investigation,” said Mayor Bill de Blasio, who is also a Democrat and long-time rival of Cuomo.

A 36-year-old Ex-advisor Lindsey Boylan, said in a blog that she had harassed by Cuomo when she was working for Cuomo administration, from 2015 to 2018.
Lindsey alleged that the governor had given her an unsolicited kiss on her lips. She said he went “out of his way to touch me on my lower back, arms and legs.”.
Lindsey made her allegations in blog post published on Wednesday. she already told about her harassment in December last year in which she said Cuomo “sexually harassed” her “for years” in a tweet.
